Navigating Graphs for Fun and Profit
Speaker:
Matteo Dell’Amico
senior principal researcher, Symantec
Abstract:
How to decide who to trust on the Internet? How to save your system from an attack of fake users? How to ensure that your password is strong? How to schedule jobs so that your system runs smoothly? How to create a machine learning system that spares you from converting data to numeric vectors? In this talk, I'll give an overview of various problems that I encountered in my research, and I will show solutions that, in many cases, involve finding paths in graphs.
